TECHNICAL EDITOR
Darrel Plant is Director Online's Technical Editor. Darrel has been a freelance Director and Flash developer in Portland, Oregon for several years, doing everything from Web sites to multiplayer networked games. In addition to having written or contributed to over half a dozen books on Director and Flash, Darrel was one of the major contributors to the Behavior Libraries in Director 7 and 8.
Darrel is responsible for tracking down interesting articles and authors (as well as dipping his own toes into the molten steel of the writer's life), and he's the guy to contact if you can imagine yourself contributing to DOUG.

ARTICLES EDITOR
James Newton is the Articles Editor. He first got involved in Director when Macromedia asked him to work with Darrel Plant on the Behavior Library for Director 7.0. He has published a book on Imaging Lingo and Shockwave 3D, and contributes regularly to a number of Director-oriented mailing lists. His company, OpenSpark Interactive Ltd, specializes in bespoke multimedia productivity tools for the manufacturing industry. James is constantly on the look out for developers who have a skill for communication, are pioneering new techniques, or have worked on a prestigious project. If you have a topic that you could write up as a tutorial, or a case study to share, then please get in touch.
